rk heliski Deposit Policy

Powder Adventure Programs
Full payment at the time of booking is required for all single day - 3 and 5 descent packages.

Multi-day
A $1000/person deposit is payable upon booking. Full payment is due 10 weeks prior to your first ski day.

Powder Privates & Astar Elite Packages
A 50% deposit is due upon booking. Full payment is due 10 weeks prior to your first ski day.

rk heliski Refund & Cancellation Policy

Weather or Mechanical No-Fly Days -If weather or any other unforseen deterrent prevents the helicopter from flying on your designated day, clients can either opt for a full refund or apply payment towards an excursion for a later date. Refunds will be issued in the same manner as the original payment - cash for cash or traveler's cheques, credit card refunds for payment with a credit card, direct refunds to travel agents for agency bookings.

Note: There are no refunds issued on No Fly Days for the used portion of Bus Transportation

Cancellations -Heliski package deposits/payments are non-refundable in whole or in part once pre-payment has been made. If during your heliski day you choose to stop skiing prior to completing your package no refund will be issued for the un-skied runs.
We recommend that you purchase trip cancellation insurance - please see below.

Trip Cancellation Insurance - We recommend you purchase Trip Cancellation Insurance. This may be purchased through your Travel Agent, or we can recommend an insurance company who offers this type of trip cancellation insurance. Please be sure that you are covered and are familiar with our cancellation policy.

Emergency Medi-Evac Plan - In the event that you become injured or ill during your heliski day, it may be necessary for you to be flown back to the Heli-Plex, or to the Invermere and District Hospital prior to the end of your day. Skiers are responsible for the cost of the flight time. An approximate flight time of .7 may result in a cost of up to $2,100 CAD. RK Heliski offers coverage for such incidents at a rate of $19.95 + gst. This coverage must be purchased prior to departing the Heli Plex for skiing. The Evacuation Program does not include any provincial ground or air ambulance transfers should they be required. Please check with your travel agent to ensure your medical travel insurance covers these costs.
