Nate was born in Edmonton, AB and is certified as an ACMG Ski Guide. He started guiding with rk in 2005. Nate is a welcome member to our team of guides, as he brings exceptional guiding skills and a great sense of humour.

Graham Holt

Graham Holt Lead Guide - ACMG Ski Guide
Graham was born in Calgary, AB. He is certified by the ACMG as a Ski Guide and has worked with rk since 1999. Graham once rode a mountain bike from San Diego, CA to Panama.

Andrew Nelson

Andrew Nelson ACMG Ski Guide
Andrew was born and raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario but has called Panorama and Invermere home since 1995. He still heads east regularly to get his sailing fix on Lake Superior, though. Andrew is an ACMG Ski Guide and a Professional Member and Instructor for the CAA.

Mike Koppang

Mike Koppang ACMG - Ski Guide
Mike was born in Edmonton, Alberta and still lives in Alberta. He calls Canmore home since 1994. Mike has worked as a Ski Guide with rk since 2007 and also works with the Alberta Government as a Mountain Rescue specialist and Avalanche Forecaster.

A gypsy since birth, Erica has made her home in the Bow Valley for the past 10 years. Erica is certified as an ACMG Ski Guide & Apprentice Alpine Guide. Her favourite job is working as a heli-ski guide for rk.

Kirk Mauthner ACMG - IFMGA Mountain Guide
Kirk is an ACMG / IFMGA Mountain Guide who was raised in the Columbia Valley. When not guiding, he loves to spend some time with his family. This especially outside in the mountains. Kirk also is the Canadian representative for Terrestrial Rescue at the International Commission for Alpine Rescue.

Rod was born in Waukegan, IL. He is both ACMG and IFMGA certified and has guided for rk since 1987. Rod also is a professional member of the Canadian Avalanche Association.

Laura has lived with her family in the Columbia Valley for 26 years. Working alongside the dedicated reservation and sales staff has made 20 years in the ski industry as much fun as heli-skiing!!!

Bryan handles the design and IT at rk. Originally from Alberta, he calls Radium Hot Springs home. Great rivers and great skiing.

Gaby Ingram Front Desk Manager
Gaby was born and raised in Germany, but Canada has been her chosen home since 1987. She discovered her love for the mountains and waist-deep snow while working in Banff National Park and joined the team at rk in 2004. Gaby also has a passion for bicycle touring, the most memorable thing being a solo bike trip across Canada!

Glenna Walbauer Guest Services
Originally from Edmonton, Glenna has called Panorama Mountain Village home the past 4 seasons. She has chased the snow across Alberta and BC, down to New Zealand, and now to RK. This is her first season with RK, splitting her time between the heliplex and snowboard instructing at Panorama Snow School.

Nicole grew up in Switzerland near the beautiful Lake of Constance. She was working as a Ski Instructor at Panorama Mountain Village, BC for the past 4 years and joined RK Heliski in 2011.

Dave was born in Chatham, Ontario where he quickly realized the flat lands were not for him. He has been out west for the past 7 years. Dave is working his private helicopter pilot's license.

Rob Gallagher

Rob Gallagher Owner - Coldstream Helicopters | Pilot - Bell 212 & 204+
Coming from a humble background, Rob started his love for helicopters back in the early 1970′s and created an admiration for these incredible flying machines throughout the years. Growing up in the heli-ski world, Rob thought everybody had a helicopter in their back yard. Needless to say, he has had a passion for flying and skiing ever since. Rob has been actively flying since 1991 and is one of the founders and President of Coldstream Helicopters. He is looking forward to again being a part of the rk team and has over 10,000 hours of flying time, with years of extensive heli-skiing experience. When not working, he loves skiing, wake surfing, mountain biking and having lots of fun with his son Quinn and his beautiful wife Candace.

Derek Robinson

Derek Robinson Chief Pilot - Bell 212 & 204+
Derek's career has taken him throughout Canada and the US for the last 31 years. He has been able to work within the heart of the busiest cities in the US providing both Fire and Rescue support, as well as working as far north as the Beaufort sea. He has spent most of his 14,000 hours in the mountains and his heli-ski time throughout these past 18 years has been between Weigle / Great Canadian / CMH

Albin Neururer

Albin Neururer Pilot - Bell 204+
Albin was born and raised in Tirol, Austria in the heart of the Alps where he started flying helicopters in 1991. His passion for those machines brought him to the USA and Canada. Almost all of his 4000 hrs total flight time where flown in the mountains of the Rockies and the Alps. In the past he was heli-skiing at M. Wiegele out of Blue River and he is fighting fires, flying for mineral explorations and seismic operations in the summer. Albin is also a certified Class D (Human External Load) pilot. Besides flying skiers up to the mountain tops he likes to ski as much as possible himself, snow-shoeing and hiking the backcountry whenever he can and spending lots of time with his beloved wife Helene and his family.
