Located at Panorama Mountain Village, rk heliski is only a 3.5-hour drive from downtown Calgary and 90-minutes from Banff, AB. The beautiful drive through Banff and Kootenay National Parks is, in itself, worth the trip. To check driving conditions in the area, please click here.

Calgary International Airport

(3.5 hrs drive - 292 km/181 miles) is the principal gateway serving all major carriers and ground transportation options.

Many rk clients stay in Banff and travel to Panorama on rk's bus transportation, which departs daily. Cost: $ 80.00 return (minimums apply).

Once at Panorama, some of the best skiing in the world is only another 10 - 15 minute helicopter flight out of the village and into the heart of the Purcell mountains where the air is fresh, the powder is deep and the experience exhilarating.

The Purcell Mountains with some 3,350 meter / 11,000 ft high peaks lie west of the Rockies and just East of the Selkirk Mountains. From the north/south aspect the Purcells lie in between Golden, B.C. to the north and just south of the U.S. border into Idaho.
